Installation

STEP 1

Before beginning the installation, uninstall any previous Office packages or applications to minimize the chance of errors.

STEP 2

Begin by activating the Office package using the button below. Sign in with your Microsoft account, enter your product key when prompted, and proceed to download the software.

For users of macOS Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey, directly download the installation file from this link and proceed on your desktop after activation on setup.office.com.

STEP 3

Next, open the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Note: The installation file might be labeled as Microsoft 365, the universal setup file for Microsoft Office. This label does not indicate that you are downloading Microsoft 365. After installation and activation, you will have Microsoft Office 2021 Home & Business for Mac.

STEP 4

After the installation, verify the activation by opening Word and clicking on ‘Account’ in the bottom left corner. This will show if everything was successful and the installation is complete.
